Our Christmas Party At School

We had a Christmas party at school with a book exchange and lots of yummy food!! My Mommy said it was "short and sweet" whatever that means!! We have a Valentine Party coming up soon. Class parties are always so much fun for us kids!!

Mommy Makes Plates For My Class

My Mommy came to my school and got all the footprints of my classmates on plates. She then took the plates home and made the footprints into reindeer. They turned out super cute and my teachers were so thankful!!!

Pop DJ, CG & The Oklahoma City Children's Museum

We went to OKC to visit my Daddy's family and to celebrate an early Christmas with them. We had a great time!! We went to the OKC Children's Museum and could have spent a week there because there is so much to see!! We spent the better part of four hours there and it about wore us all out!! We then went to Brick Town and were planning on spending some time down there BUT it was freeezzzing!!!!!  BRRR!!! So we had an early dinner at Toby Keith's and called it a night. It was a wonderful weekend with my sweet Pop DJ and CG!!! CG made us the most delicious breakfast while we were there--she always does!!! I slept in a "chaise lounge" chair and still fell off in the middle of the night!!! I hope we are planning another trip to see them soon!!

Making Homeade Cookies With Daddy and Mommy

We spent an afternoon during the crazy snow days making cookies. My Daddy made homeade sugar cookies and my Mommy made homeade chocolate chip cookies. Just between you and me my Daddy's were way, way better!! We made them as a family and made enough to share with MeMe and Nana since MeMe was the hero and went to the store for us to get milk during the craziness!! I hope we have more family bake-a-thons in the near future!!

Ice In Texas--Holy Cow

We had several days of bad weather--like BAD--no school for days. No getting out of the house, no driving, &  ICE everywhere!! We were OK the first three days but by day four we all had a little cabin fever. We played outside a little, made Christmas ornaments, napped, watched TV, read lots of books, colored, made cookies, etc. but I think we were all happy when the sun melted the ice and we could get out!!!

Sparky..Our "Elf on a Shelf"

We had a new member join our family this year. His name is Sparky and he has some crazy cool magical powers!! He keeps an eye on me and Ranger throughout the day and reports to Santa every night to let him know if we were naughty or nice. He looses his power if we touch him so we are sure not to touch him..even though I am pretty sure I touched him a time or two while Mommy wasn't looking!! He is somewhere different everyday when we wake up and we have to go find him!! It is a fun new tradition!!!

Prepping For Jesus Birthday

This year I was able to help my Daddy with the tree and outside lights. It was a tough job but my Daddy really needed my help!! Of course we had to use the ladder to do the lights and I am pretty sure my Daddy couldn't have done it without me!! I was a big help with the lights on the tree too!!!

Second Annual Handmade Ornament Bizarre

We started a new tradition last year. We make ornaments with Nanny and my Dad's side of the family sometime over the Thanksgiving break. This year we made two different ornaments..one fairly simple and the other labor intensive but cute!! It is a fun tradition that I am pretty sure my Mommy likes as much as I do!!

Thanksgiving Day--I am Finally Able To Sit At The Kid Table

I got to sit at the "Kid Table" this year. This was the first year for me to be able to do that!! I have spent the previous years in a high chair...bye bye to that!! We made special candles to go on the tables the night before from recycled jars, orange paint and epsom salt. After we had lunch we went to Hulen Park to enjoy the Christmas lights and get us in the holiday spirit!!We had a house full of the people we love and we have so much to be thankful for!! My Mommy always says Thanksgiving is her favorite holiday!! I think it will be mine one day too!!

Nanny Gives The Trampoline a Shot

Nanny is so great. She plays with me when she comes and I love her so much. She got on the trampoline with me while she was here for Thanksgiving. She taught me a thing or two while we were jumping. She is a very special person and I am so glad she is part of my life!!
